This is a vintage 1950s Japanese silk Obiage for a kimono. It is extra extra long and would make a pretty amazing table runner or other household decor item. It is blue with a yellow hand dyed shibori pattern. Very good condition, a few light areas of fading and pinholes, see last photo.
There is the remnants of an old Japanese dry cleaning tag tied to the edge. Note in the photo it is shown folded in half lengthwise and draped over a clothing rack. The total length is double what you see in the photo.
