Absolutely stunning vintage Shiromuku wedding kimono in bright white silk with a silk satin embroidered peacock pattern. Very long graceful sleeves and a very long overall length. Fully lined, and it has a thick rolled padded hem. The hem is still covered with the original protective cloth that is lightly attached with a basting stitch. This bridal kimono appears to have never been worn. It is in excellent condition, showing a couple tiny specks on the center back just above the hem and a couple tiny pulls. See the 4th photo.
A Shiromuku is part of the traditional bridal ensemble worn at a Shinto wedding ceremony. There is no sash or obi, Shiromuku kimonos are worn over the main kimono, as you would wear a coat or outerwear. This Shiromuku is perfectly wearable, or it would make a gorgeous display piece.

This kimono is quite heavy. it will be shipped by either Priority Mail, or optional Express Mail upgrade, and a signature will be required within the USA.
If you are outside of the US, this will be very expensive to ship. It will only be shipped by Registered Priority Mail. It is far too heavy to ship by First Class Int'l Package Service. A signature will be required at delivery. All local import taxes, VAT, and duties are the buyer's responsibility to pay upon delivery, they are not included in the price or the shipping fees.
