Vintage 1970s kimono robe in periwinkle blue-lavender Ro silk with a tan and ivory ivy / grass print. Ro silk is woven by twisting and skipping some threads, creating an open striped effect in the weave, and giving it a chiffon gauze like quality to the fabric. Not lined, it is perfect for summer weather. It comes with handmade sash as shown. It is in excellent condition.
Please note: This kimono is 100% pure silk. Ro weaving creates a fabric that is more slick on the surface and feels different, more like a chiffon or organza gauze. It does not feel like what you may think of as traditional silk.
