Vintage 1950s kimono robe in navy blue marble semi-sheer Ro silk. Ro silk is woven by twisting and skipping some threads, creating an open striped effect in the weave, and giving it a chiffon gauze like quality to the fabric. Not lined, it is perfect for summer weather. It comes with the simple sash shown in the photos. It is in excellent condition.
Please note: This kimono is 100% silk. Ro weaving creates a fabric that is more slick on the surface and feels different, more like a gauze. It does not feel like what you may think of as traditional silk.
