1940s Vintage Cotton Kimono Robe with Thread Spools Novelty Print
Vintage Clothing and Kimonos are not sized the same as modern manufactured clothing. Everything sold by ThisBlueBird will include actual garment measurements in inches. When choosing an item please refer to the measurements and compare them with a similar style garment you already own. Please note the measurements are actual garment measurements and you must leave 2 to 3 inches between your actual measurements and the garment for ease of movement.
The charts on this page are here to assist you in understanding how vintage clothing and kimonos are measured and where you should measure on your body.
From the 1940s, a unique cotton kimono with a super cute thread spool novelty print on a shibori printed background! It has a white muslin lapel with white woven haneri attached. It is lined in cotton. It is in very good condition, the haneri edges are fraying at the bottom and there is a line of seam stress on the back side near the bottom, these can be seen in the last photo.
