1970s - 1980s Vintage HANAE MORI Designer Dress in Ivory Chiffon with Gold Roses
Vintage Clothing and Kimonos are not sized the same as modern manufactured clothing. Everything sold by ThisBlueBird will include actual garment measurements in inches. When choosing an item please refer to the measurements and compare them with a similar style garment you already own. Please note the measurements are actual garment measurements and you must leave 2 to 3 inches between your actual measurements and the garment for ease of movement.
The charts on this page are here to assist you in understanding how vintage clothing and kimonos are measured and where you should measure on your body.
Gorgeous vintage designer dress by Hanae Mori. Ivory chiffon with woven gold lame roses. Straight shift dress shape. Slim 3/4 length sleeves with a ruffle of chiffon going down the length of the back of the sleeve. This ruffle wraps around the back of the shoulders in a cape style. Front of the neckline has an attached scarf draped around over the shoulders. There are covered buttons down the back and the dress is fully lined.
It is in excellent condition apart from a few super faint spots that are on the lining and just slightly show through the chiffon, these can probably be remedied with spot treatment at a professional dry cleaner. See last photo.
Made by Hanae Mori Boutique, no size tag. This is a very small size.
The measurements listed below were taken while dress was laying flat and doubled where appropriate.
Bust / Waist / Hips - 36 inches (91.44 cm)
Length from shoulder to hem - 43 inches (109.22 cm)
Sleeve length - 20 inches (50.8 cm)
Shoulders across back, seam to seam - 16 inches (40.64 cm)
