Vintage 1970s Navy Blue Fisherman's Cardigan Sweater
Vintage Clothing and Kimonos are not sized the same as modern manufactured clothing. Everything sold by ThisBlueBird will include actual garment measurements in inches. When choosing an item please refer to the measurements and compare them with a similar style garment you already own. Please note the measurements are actual garment measurements and you must leave 2 to 3 inches between your actual measurements and the garment for ease of movement.
The charts on this page are here to assist you in understanding how vintage clothing and kimonos are measured and where you should measure on your body.
Cozy 1970s hand knitted cardigan sweater. Navy blue with white dotted pattern in the knit. Very thick warm knit texture, could even be worn as an outer layer. Turned collar, brown buttons, front pockets and a drawstring at the hips. Has a slight drop-shoulder style. Not lined. It is in excellent condition.
This is home sewn so there are no tags. The yarn is very thick and feels like wool but it could be acrylic, or a blend of wool and acrylic.
Please refer to the measurements listed below, taken while buttoned up and laying flat and doubled where appropriate.
