Fabulous and rare! Vintage 1960s peignoir set by Alice Maloof. Bright red micro-accordion pleated nightgown and matching robe. Gown is Grecian style with non-adjustible straps. Robe is made of overlapping petals and has ties at each shoulder. There is one hidden hook/eye clasp across the bust, otherwise robe hangs open in front. Excellent condition apart from a very faint spot on the nightgown which is hidden in the pleats, pointed out in last photo.
Tag size small. Fabric feels like polyester. Hand wash only.
Shown on a modern US size 0 dress form. Note the nightgown bust is the smallest part of this set. Please refer to measurements in inches taken while laying flat and doubled where appropriate.
