This is an adorable vintage strapless sundress made of bright red, pink, and purple novelty print hearts cotton. No exact age, but it's construction indicates it is from the mid 1950s. It has an interesting fit. The skirt is bias cut in a full circle, with small waist band, back metal zipper, and button. The top is essentially a very long rectangle of fabric, tapered at the ends, with front bust darts. It can either be worn tied at the back, or wrapped around and tied in front. It is shown both ways in the photos. It is also shown with the bodice, just slightly folded under along the top edge, this will depend on your own torso length. There are no tags and this dress was home sewn. There is no elastic in the waistband. Not lined. It is very soft cotton. It is in excellent condition.
