Lovely 1950s New Look party dress in an sea foam green lace and chiffon. It has a lace bodice and lace panels in the skirt. Pleated chiffon at the neckline. Skirt is fully lined in acetate, bodice is has slip style lining with spaghetti straps, leaving the shoulders and sleeves just lace. The straps are tied at the shoulders through strap stays, so they can be tied tighter or a little more loose if needed. The lining itself, is attached to the lace/chiffon layer at the waist seam, it is not removable. The dress has a side metal zipper and hook/eye clasp. This dress is in excellent condition apart from one small faint spot next to the zipper, a few on the back side in the chiffon, and a few mends between the lace and chiffon just below the waist, see the last photo.
There are no tags. The dress is shown on a modern US size 10 dress form (36.5” B / 27.5” W / 37.5” H) and it was clipped for shape.
