Vintage 1950s Blue Cotton Jantzen Swimsuit
Vintage Clothing and Kimonos are not sized the same as modern manufactured clothing. Everything sold by ThisBlueBird will include actual garment measurements in inches. When choosing an item please refer to the measurements and compare them with a similar style garment you already own. Please note the measurements are actual garment measurements and you must leave 2 to 3 inches between your actual measurements and the garment for ease of movement.
The charts on this page are here to assist you in understanding how vintage clothing and kimonos are measured and where you should measure on your body.
Adorable vintage 1950s swimsuit in aqua blue cotton. Ruched sides, front panel covering the hips. Adjustable straps with 4 buttons, built in bra with boning. Elastic shirred back and around the legs. Partially lined in white cotton with a back metal zipper. It is in very good condition. Shows one or two small spots and slight yellowing on one side of the waist/hip. The elastic in the legs is in ok condition, not completely stretched out but not like new either, still wearable as is or it could be replaced. The back elastic is very strong. See last photo for spot/yellowing.
