Vintage 1950s Dress / Bright Pink Silk Dress

9001449

Gorgeous vintage 1950s bright pink silk cocktail dress. Cowl neckline, fitted waist and a draped sash and rose across the front and down the right side seam. It is fully lined in which gives it a structured shape. It has a back metal zipper. Appears to be in perfect, unworn condition and there is only one faint mark on the very edge of the left sleeve, pointed out in last photo.

There is one original tag hanging from the zipper that indicates 100% silk and another sewn inside that says "Remarks: Silk Linen." The original fabric sample is also still attached on the interior tag. There is no maker's mark.

Vintage tag size 20 1/2. The dress is shown on a modern US size 12 dress form and it was clipped in back for shape. This dress would best fit at least a US size 12 to 14. Please refer to measurements in inches taken while laying flat and doubled where appropriate. Please leave yourself some room in the measurements for ease of movement.

Waist - 32 inches (81.28 cm)
