Beautiful 1950s cropped cardigan sweater. Pale peach with grape clusters of faux pearls and dotted all thought with tiny seed beads. button front and lined in white silk crepe. The sweater is in very good condition. There is minor pilling consistent with age, a faint mark on the back of the arm which should come out with professional dry cleaning. The beads all appear to be in very good condition and the lining is in tact but there was a mend made near the hem, see the last photo.
Made in Hong Kong for Gene Shelley's of California. Tag indicates 70% Lambswool, 20% Rabbit Angora and 10% Nylon. Please refer to the measurements listed below, taken while laying flat and doubled where appropriate.
