Vintage silk kimono robe from the 1940s to early 1950s in brick red with a turquoise and ivory woven cross pattern. Not lined, it is light weight and good for warm weather. Includes a simple satin ribbon sash, as shown in the photos. In very good condition, there are a few light watermarks and one tiny pinhole along the side seam, see last photo.
Around body, measured across the back and doubled - 48 inches
Length from shoulder to hem - 60 inches
Professional dry clean only.
Please note - Traditional Japanese kimonos are made very long and intended to be worn folded up at the waist to suit the height of the person wearing it. To be worn as a typical robe around the house, they will need to be professionally hemmed from the waist, or allowed to trail on the floor.
