Gorgeous and rare vintage Henri Bendel. White rayon crepe with an aqua blue and magenta floral print. Dress features a wide pointed collar, Dolman style 3/4 length sleeves, and a deep v-neckline in back above a long metal zipper.
Inside there is small taffeta belt to cinch the waist, which can be adjusted if the hook/eye are moved. Also there is a short taffeta pleated lining from the waist covering the hips, which creates a bustle silhouette. On the exterior at the back waist there are two long sashes between the pleated bustle. Apart from the small taffeta hip insert, this dress is not lined.
The French cuffs are not sewn folded back and will hang loose. The front view photo shows the cuffs pinned back to indicate what they would look like if sewn permanently in that position, other views show the cuffs as they are hanging loose.
The dress is in excellent condition. No rips or holes that I can see. There is a touch of scattered light dye bleed, which is shown in the last photo.
No size tag. Measurements are approximate, taken flat and doubled where necessary.
