Vintage 1940s - 1950s Light Tan Fur Cape Stole
Vintage Clothing and Kimonos are not sized the same as modern manufactured clothing. Everything sold by ThisBlueBird will include actual garment measurements in inches. When choosing an item please refer to the measurements and compare them with a similar style garment you already own. Please note the measurements are actual garment measurements and you must leave 2 to 3 inches between your actual measurements and the garment for ease of movement.
The charts on this page are here to assist you in understanding how vintage clothing and kimonos are measured and where you should measure on your body.
Vintage 1940s to early 1950s cape. Tan with tan satin lining, with ruffle trim, and a wide shawl collar, and a hook/eye at the center neck. The collar can be worn pulled down or plumped up a bit. The lining is embroidered with the original owner's monogram. The collar is lined on the under side with a soft material, not smooth satin. The sides are scalloped to go over the arm at the elbow, and there are side slit pockets. In excellent condition and the only wear appears to be some light marks on the lining, shown in last photo.
