Beautiful vintage silk kimono robe dating to the very late 1910s to right about 1920. Maroon floral design on a dusky mauve pink rinzu woven silk crepe. Fully lined in red silk and pink silk crepe. It has very long graceful sleeves. It comes with a sash made from vintage silk. It is in good condition for its age but needs a little TLC. There are some scattered spots and a little seam separation under the arms, which is very common on older kimonos. There is an area of a few holes in the center of the back. See these in the last photo. Due to this, the kimono is priced at a very significant discount, and sold as is, final sale.
Please Note: This kimono is wearable, although gently. It would be better suited for display. If it is intended for wear, I very strongly recommend having a tailor shorten it by a few inches and use some of the harvested fabric to patch the center back section.
Measurements are approximate, taken flat and then doubled where necessary, see diagram on last image to understand how measurements are taken.
