Vintage 1920s Kimono Robe Furisode Nagajuban / Red & Gold Flying Cranes

Amazing vintage 1920s silk kimono robe in bright red silk crepe with a hand painted gold and flying cranes and clouds pattern. It has the longest sleeves that hang nearly as long as the entire kimono. The sleeves are also quite high-cut under the arms, so the opening under the arm is larger than typical. It has a very wide haneri collar attached with three-leaf clovers. It is fully lined and includes a simple ribbon sash. It is in very good to excellent condition. There are a few specks on the collar and it has a pinkish hue from color fading. There is one mark on a shoulder. See photo.

Please note, this kimono is quite heavy due to the super long sleeves. It should definitely be stored folded to prevent hanger damage to the shoulders and sleeves.

Measurements are approximate, taken flat and then doubled where necessary. See diagram to explain how measurements are taken.

Around body - 46 inches when flat and overlapped
Length - 49 inches
Sleeve length - 42 inches
Ribbon - 90 inches

Kimono Care: Professional Dry Clean.
