Lovely vintage irotomesode kimono robe dating from between 1910 and 1920. Made of royal purple silk crepe with a beautiful pattern of peonies and flying cranes. It is lined in silk and the lower portion of the lining also features the same pattern. It has very long graceful sleeves, three mons crests, and the hem is lightly padded. It comes with a sash made from vintage kimono fabrics. It is in very good condition considering its age. There are a few small faint scatted spots, light fading to the edge of the sleeves and one area of fading on the back lower side. See these in the last photo.
