Vintage Silk Kimono Robe - Ivory and Orange Floral Print

Fantastic vintage 1970s silk kimono robe in ivory semi-sheer ro silk with an orange grass pattern. Ro silk is woven by twisting and skipping some threads, creating an open striped effect in the weave, and giving it a chiffon gauze like quality to the fabric. Not lined, it is light weight and perfect for summer weather or warmer climates. Includes a simple satin ribbon sash. This is a very long kimono!! It is in very good condition, there are some tiny scattered spots, see photo.

Please note: This kimono is 100% pure silk. Ro weaving creates a fabric that is more slick on the surface and feels different, more like a chiffon or organza gauze. It does not feel like what you may think of as traditional silk.

Measurements are approximate, taken flat and then doubled where necessary.
