1950s Vintage Silk Kimono Robe / Ivory & Blue Ivy Leaves
Vintage Clothing and Kimonos are not sized the same as modern manufactured clothing. Everything sold by ThisBlueBird will include actual garment measurements in inches. When choosing an item please refer to the measurements and compare them with a similar style garment you already own. Please note the measurements are actual garment measurements and you must leave 2 to 3 inches between your actual measurements and the garment for ease of movement.
The charts on this page are here to assist you in understanding how vintage clothing and kimonos are measured and where you should measure on your body.
Lovely vintage late 1940s to early 1950s silk kimono robe in ivory with a blue ivy leaf pattern. Medium weight crepe wear with a nice drape. Fully lined and includes a sash handmade from vintage raw silk fabric, as shown in photos. It is in very good condition, there are a few tiny specks and a couple spots of light blue dye fade on the exterior and uniform foxing on the interior, see last photo.
Measurements are approximate, taken flat and then doubled where necessary, see diagram to understand how measurements are taken.
