This is a gorgeous 1950s dress which I have had in my personal collection for the past 15 years. I wore this dress to my best friend's wedding in 2003.
Made of fine black rayon crepe, not lined, it has a back metal zipper, gathered bustline, dolman style sleeves and a tiered skirt. It is in excellent condition apart from one tiny run at the bodice, see last photo.
No tags. No stretch to this fabric. The measurements listed below were taken while dress was laying flat and doubled where appropriate.
