Beautiful vintage late 1930s to 1940s silk kimono robe furisode. Ivory silk with a hand painted floral pattern in shades of watermelon red and pale green. It is lined in a combination of white and pink ombre dyed silk crepe and ivory silk. It comes with a sash that has been hand made from vintage silk kimono fabric.
The exterior is in excellent condition, showing only a faint smudge on the left sleeve and a spot of light discoloration at the center of the back. The ivory silk portion of the lining has darkened slightly over time with some foxing spots, the lining is not visible when wearing. See these in the photo.
