1940s Vintage Royal Blue Silk Kimono Robe with Asian Pagodas and Boats Embroidery
Vintage Clothing and Kimonos are not sized the same as modern manufactured clothing. Everything sold by ThisBlueBird will include actual garment measurements in inches. When choosing an item please refer to the measurements and compare them with a similar style garment you already own. Please note the measurements are actual garment measurements and you must leave 2 to 3 inches between your actual measurements and the garment for ease of movement.
The charts on this page are here to assist you in understanding how vintage clothing and kimonos are measured and where you should measure on your body.
Fabulous 1940s to 1950 vintage silk kimono robe. Bright blue silk satin with embroidered pagodas, ships, and trees. It has traditional kimono style sleeves. Made of super soft, light weight silk satin and fully lined blue silk. It has belt loops and a matching narrow sash. In very good condition, there is one spot on back hip, a tiny bit of fray on the edge of the sash and two loose embroidery threads on the upper back, see all in the last photo.
