1920s Vintage Haori Kimono Jacket / White Floral

9001482

Gorgeous example of an antique early 1920s silk haori kimono jacket. White with a bright red orange, black, and green pattern with painted gold flowers. Half lined and it has inner yarn tassels at the bust.

Condition: This is in display condition only. There are very few faint small marks, however, almost all of the gold flowers have begun to crack, examples shown in last photo. This is not a wearable kimono, but it would be perfect as a wall display. Sold as is.

Please note this is actually a very small size haori, much smaller than typical haoris, even those from the same era. This was either for a very small woman, or for a child, or teen girl. It is shown on a professional size 0 dress form with a 31.5 inch bust. It is not suited for wearing.

Around body hanging open - 38 inches (96.52 cm)
Around body tied shut - 34 inches (86.36 cm)
Length from shoulder to hem - 30 inches (76.2 cm)
Sleeve length - 25 inches (63.5 cm)
