Beautiful silk crepe kimono robe from the late 1910s to early 1920s. Gorgeous birds and floral pattern with hand painted gold accents and long graceful sleeves. Fully lined in pink silk, the hemline is lightly padded, and it comes with a dark purple sash made from vintage kimono fabric. It has a previous owners name embroidered in Japanese Katakana script at the front inside hem, mostly likely done by a laundry service.
This kimono is in very good condition considering the age. Structurally sound, but does have some areas of discoloration along sleeve edges and on the lower back side, these are shown in the last photo.
