Gorgeous pink and red Ro silk kimono robe with a floral print and ombre dyed color. Ro silk is woven by twisting threads and skipping alternate threads, creating an open striped effect in the weave, and giving it a gauze like quality to the fabric. Not lined, it is perfect for warmer weather. It comes with a handmade sash from vintage kimono silk, as show in the photo. It is excellent condition.
Please note: This kimono is 100% pure silk. Ro weaving creates a fabric that is more slick on the surface and feels different, more like gauze. It does not feel like what you may think of as traditional silk.
