This is an antique 1900s to early 1920s silk kimono robe in black with an intricate crane birds floral pattern. The pattern extends to the inside lower part of the lining. Fully lined in red silk and the hem is padded with silk batting, as was the predominant style leading up to the mid-1920s. This kimono is in gently wearable condition, but over 100+ years the black silk has mostly faded to a greenish brown shade, and there is a hole within the Mons crest in the center back, see this and examples of the fading in the last photo. Sold as is.
Around body, measured across the back and doubled - 46 inches Length from shoulder to hem - 61 inches
