This is a lovely vintage early 1950s wedding dress. White taffeta strapless and boned bodice with lace overlay. Long pointed sleeves with snaps at the cuffs. Pointed princess waist above a full skirt of layered tiers of white lace with tiny iridescent sequins throughout. Double layer under skirt of tulle/crinoline and white taffeta. Lace tiers are slightly longer in back to form a short train. Back metal zipper.
It is in almost perfect condition. The only issue to be found is a little seam stress at the hip, which is very easily fixed by a tailor, shown in last photo. This dress is so bright and clean, it looks as if it has never been worn.
Made by Jild's of Salina Kansas.
