Vintage 1950s - 1960s Halter Top / Nautical Red, White & Blue Striped Cotton

Adorable late 1950s to early 1960s reversible halter top! One side is white and blue ticking stripes, the other is solid red. Can be worn either way. Neck is not adjustable, bust ties in the back. In excellent condition.

No size tag. Made of cotton / kodel blend. Kodel was the name of a brand of polyester, first marketed in 1958. Highly recommend you compare the measurements below to a halter or bikini top you already own to ensure enough coverage.

NOTE ABOUT CUP SIZE: The dress form shown in the photos measures 34 around the fullest point and 30 under the bust. This halter had some room to spare in the cup when it was on this form, so it would best fit a full C up to possibly a smaller D cup. The band size is dependent on the length of the band shown above as compared to your own body measurements while also leaving enough room to tie it in the back.
