Gorgeous vintage silk kimono from 1910 to 1920. Made of pale pink raw silk and embroidered with flowers and flying cranes. The entire kimono is very lightly padded and has a lining of gossamer-fine ivory silk. The hem is fully padded. It includes a matching silk obi sash with long fringe and embroidery.
The set is good considering it is 100 years old. There are only a few very faint spots and one mark on the obi sash, there is one flower where the embroidery has been retied. There are scattered small holes and some stress on the seams at the shoulders and alone the padded hem. Shown in the last photo. Please view close up.
✥ This kimono is wearable but gently and with care. ✥ It has been professionally dry cleaned and is ready for display.
Measurements are approximate, taken flat and then doubled where necessary.
