Fantastic vintage 1970s silk kimono robe in dark blue semi-sheer ro silk. Ro silk is woven by skipping some threads creating a striped effect in the weave and giving it a chiffon like quality to the fabric. Not lined, it is light weight and perfect for summer weather or warmer climates. Includes a sash handmade from vintage fabric, as shown in photos. It is in excellent condition.
Please note: This kimono is 100% pure silk. Verified by a burn test. Ro weaving creates a fabric that is more slick on the surface and feels different, more like a chiffon or organza. It does not feel like what you may think of as traditional silk.
