Beautiful late teens to early 1920s silk kimono robe in a red shibori printed star pattern on very soft silk crepe. This is an under-kimono called a Juban. This one has long sleeves. It has a natural cotton muslin lapel and there is no haneri collar attached. It is lined in a combination of red and peach silk. In very good condition structurally, but the red has faded onto the white pattern and muslin lapel which is now a peach/pink tone, overall the effect is very uniform so it makes it appear as if red/peach was the original color scheme. There is one area of red dye bleed under the arm. See both in the last photo. Nevertheless, this kimono is priced at a discount and sold as is.
Measurements are approximate, taken flat and then doubled where necessary. See last image for diagram to explain how measurements are taken.
Note this is a small sized kimono, best fit for XXS to XS US 0 - 2. While it is shown on a size 6, this kimono would not have wrapped fully around the dress form if worn with a sash like a robe.
